Three dedicated cryobiology rooms

Three dedicated cryobiology rooms

We preserve the biological material in mechanical freezers (from -20°C to -80°C) or in cryobiological containers containing liquid nitrogen (-196°C) or nitrogen vapour (-150°C).

We use validated LIM software that ensures unambiguous identification and traceability of the single samples inside the devices, thus eliminating the risk of cross contamination.

We monitor and record the temperature of devices 24 hours a day, all year round, by means of remote alarm systems and emergency plans. We guarantee computerised control of the instruments AND periodic filing of the entire Cryobiology Room data, with rigorous, redundant backup systems.
We guarantee high quality service through continuous monitoring of the processes and instruments together with a high level of training of Cryobiology Room staff and scheduling of periodic internal inspections.
